WAIST TRAINER SIZE GUIDE| Romance Boutique Secrets
FIND YOUR PERFECT WAIST TRAINER FIT
A properly fitted waist trainer should feel snug, supportive and secure without preventing you from breathing or moving comfortably.
Unlike full-body Colombian fajas, waist trainers are primarily sized according to your natural waist measurement.
For the best fit, take a fresh waist measurement before selecting your size rather than relying on your regular clothing size.
YOUR WAIST MEASUREMENT
Measure around the smallest part of your natural waist, usually around or slightly above your belly button.
Keep your stomach relaxed and the measuring tape comfortably snug against your body. Do not suck in your stomach or pull the measuring tape excessively tight.
Your measurement should reflect your actual natural waist.
RBS WAIST TRAINER SIZE REFERENCE

FIT NOTE: This chart is a general Romance Boutique Secrets sizing reference. Sizing and compression may vary by brand, material and waist trainer construction. When a product has its own size chart, always use the sizing information provided for that specific style.
HOW SHOULD A WAIST TRAINER FIT?
Your waist trainer should feel firm and supportive, but not painfully tight.
When properly fitted, it should:
• Sit securely around your waist
• Provide firm, even compression
• Allow you to breathe normally
• Allow comfortable everyday movement
• Close without excessive force
• Feel supportive without causing pain or numbness
A new waist trainer may feel snug when first worn, but extreme discomfort is not an indication of a better fit.
DO NOT SIZE DOWN FOR MORE COMPRESSION
Choosing a smaller size does not necessarily create a better result.
We do not recommend intentionally sizing down simply to achieve stronger compression.
A waist trainer that is too small may fit improperly, create excessive pressure or prevent the garment from sitting correctly on your body.
Choose your size according to your current natural waist measurement and the sizing recommendations for the specific garment.
WHAT IF I’M BETWEEN SIZES?
If your measurement falls between two sizes, don’t automatically choose the smaller size.
The best choice can depend on:
• The specific brand
• Compression level
• Garment construction
• Material and stretch
• Your desired fit
Check the individual product’s sizing information first.
If you’re still unsure, contact our team before ordering and we’ll help you choose the best option.
COLOMBIAN WAIST TRAINERS & CINTURILLAS
Different Colombian waist trainers can fit differently depending on their construction.
Some styles may feature:
• Multiple rows of hook-and-eye adjustments
• Latex or high-compression materials
• Flexible or structured boning
• Longer or shorter torso lengths
• Different levels of compression
Because of these differences, two waist trainers labeled the same size may not fit exactly the same.
Always check the individual product description and size recommendations when available.
WAIST TRAINER VS. FAJA SIZING
Your waist trainer size is not necessarily the same as your Colombian faja size.
A full-body faja considers additional factors such as your hips, body proportions and garment construction.
A waist trainer is primarily selected using your natural waist measurement.
