SIZE & FIT GUIDE

SIZE & FIT GUIDE

Find Your Perfect Fit

At Romance Boutique Secrets, we know the right fit makes all the difference.

From Colombian fajas and post-op compression garments to our Reloj de Arena™ semi-custom fajas, waist trainers, lingerie and corsets, different styles require different measurements and sizing methods.

Our Size & Fit Guide was created to help you shop with confidence and choose the fit that works best for your body and your garment.

For the most accurate fit, always measure yourself before selecting your size.

HOW TO MEASURE

For best results, use a soft measuring tape and measure directly over lightweight clothing or undergarments. Keep the measuring tape comfortably against your body without pulling it too tight.

Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust.

Underbust
Measure directly underneath your bust, keeping the measuring tape level around your body.

Waist
Measure around the smallest part of your natural waist, usually around or slightly above your belly button.

Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks.

Torso
For garments that require torso measurements, measure according to the instructions provided in the individual fit guide.

Important: Do not automatically choose your regular clothing size. Fajas, compression garments, waist trainers, corsets and lingerie may each follow different sizing guidelines.

COLOMBIAN FAJAS & SHAPEWEAR

The right faja size is based on your body measurements, garment style and desired level of compression — not simply your everyday clothing size.

For most Colombian fajas and shapewear, your waist and hip measurements are especially important.

Because compression levels and construction can vary between styles, we recommend checking the sizing information for the specific garment you are purchasing before choosing your size.

Never intentionally size down simply to achieve stronger compression. A properly fitted faja should provide firm, supportive compression while still allowing you to breathe and move comfortably.

RELOJ DE ARENA™ SEMI-CUSTOM FAJAS

Designed for Your Proportions

Our Reloj de Arena™ semi-custom sizing system is ideal for women whose waist and hip measurements do not fit comfortably into one traditional size.

Instead of choosing one size for your entire garment, select:

One size for your waist + one size for your hips.

For example, a smaller waist with fuller hips can be accommodated with a combination selected according to both measurements.

This helps create a more customized hourglass fit while providing the compression and shaping you expect from your faja.

Use our Reloj de Arena™ chart to find the combination that corresponds with your measurements.

POST-OP FAJAS: STAGE 1, STAGE 2 & STAGE 3

Post-operative sizing requires special consideration because your measurements and compression needs can change throughout recovery.

Stage 1

Generally designed for the early recovery period when swelling and inflammation may be at their highest. Comfort, appropriate compression and room for changes in swelling are especially important.

Stage 2

As swelling decreases, many customers transition into firmer compression and a more sculpted fit.

Stage 3

Typically offers stronger shaping and contouring for customers who have progressed beyond the earlier stages of recovery.

Your correct size may change as inflammation decreases, which is why we recommend measuring yourself again before moving into another stage or purchasing a new post-op garment.

Important: Our sizing and fit information is intended to help with garment selection and is not medical advice. Always follow the recommendations of your surgeon or qualified healthcare provider regarding compression garments and post-operative care.

WAIST TRAINERS

Waist trainers are sized differently from full-body fajas.

Your natural waist measurement should be the primary measurement used when selecting your size.

Measure around the smallest part of your waist without sucking in your stomach or pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

A waist trainer should feel snug and supportive, but you should still be able to breathe and move comfortably.

If you are between sizes or unsure which level of compression is right for you, contact our team before ordering.

LINGERIE & CORSETS

Finding the right lingerie fit depends on the style of the garment.

Depending on the piece, you may need your:

Bust • Underbust • Waist • Hips

For bodysuits and one-piece styles, your proportions and torso length may also affect the fit.

Corsets & Bustiers

Traditional corsets, underbust corsets and steel-boned corsets should not be sized the same way as Colombian waist trainers or fajas.

Always refer to the specific corset sizing recommendations and use your actual measurements when selecting your size.
